Registration & Attendance

Do I need to register to attend the Statewide Summit on Behavioral Health: An Opportunity for Collaborative Change?
Yes. You will need to register to enjoy the Statewide Summit on Behavioral Health and its features.


Is there a registration fee?
No, this is a free event.


What meals are included with registration?
Morning coffee with a light continental breakfast or assorted pasties and lunch are provided on both days.


Can I register on-site?
No, on-site registration is not available. We need to provide the venue with a final attendee count in advance, so all attendees must register online before the deadline, May 7, 2025.


What if I need to cancel my registration? 
Please contact Maxine Curtis at mdjud.behavioralhealth@mdcourts.gov as soon as possible to update your registration status.


What if I want a designee to attend the Summit in my place?

Please contact Maxine Curtis at mdjud.behavioralhealth@mdcourts.gov as soon as possible to update your registration status.


Can I invite my colleagues and friends to attend the event?
No. This is an invitation only event.


Will attendees receive a confirmation email?
No. You will receive a message that shows up after a successful registration for the event in Sched. In this message will be Pre-Feedback Summit questions and hotel accommodations.


How do I access the schedule for the Statewide Summit on Behavioral Health?
Create an account on Sched and/or log in to register on Sched to access the schedule.


Will I be able to take away any documents from the event?
Yes. We will provide a binder for each attendee and there will be attached documents on Sched for you to access.

They can be found in the highlighted link above.

What if I am unable to attend the Pre-Summit Webinars?
The Pre-Summit Webinars will be recorded and made available for review after the event.

Are the Pre-Summit Webinars open to the public?
Pre-Summit webinars will be open to the public to provide an overview of the Statewide Summit on Behavioral Health. We invite attendees to share the webinars with their jurisdictions to help facilitate the very important process of post-Summit planning and implementation.


Event Logistics

Is the event in-person, virtual, or hybrid? 
This is an in-person event. However, some plenary sessions will be recorded and made available for viewing after the Summit.


Are meals provided?
Yes. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided both days.


Am I responsible for my own hotel and transportation cost?
All non-judiciary employees are responsible for their hotel and transportation cost unless otherwise indicated. All judiciary employees who are eligible to receive overnight accommodations should complete Maryland Judiciary Hotel Accommodations.


Where can I stay for hotel accommodations?
Non-judiciary guest may choose to stay at Turf Valley.  Guests may choose to make reservations directly with Turf Valley at their standard rate.  There are several hotels in the area.  They are listed below.
